Showcase Band and Country/Roots Ensemble

Consisting of vocalists and rhythm section players, the Showcase Band is a dynamic group designed to replicate the professional sound of ensembles in the world of music. The repertoire is curated from a broad spectrum of music ranging from rock, neo-soul, soul, funk and pop. In addition, come celebrate MacEwan University's Country & Roots Ensemble under the direction of Kim Lesaca, this ensemble will be performing music by The Chicks, Cody Johnson, Tyler Childers, John Mayer, and other country and roots music from our favourite artists.

The 2024/2025 Music Season is an opportunity to experience the imagination and energy of some of Edmonton’s top emerging music professionals and artists.
