MacEwan Theatre Dance Classes - Term or Drop In - Winter 2025

Improve your dance skills, maintain your technique, and work on your audition skills by learning and performing choreography in a fun, open level class setting. Jazz, Tap, Hip Hop, and Ballet will be taught by a rotating faculty of MacEwan educators and industry professional choreographers, this class is a great way to enhance your confidence, motivate, scaffold existing skills, build community, and stay connected. This class is open to everyone: current MacEwan Music Theatre students, alumni, and prospective students.

Classes will be held in Allard Hall, Monday evenings from 6:30 - 8:00 PM. The classes will rotate between studios 11-307 or 11-313 based on the discipline offered that week

You will be asked to sign a waiver upon arrival. Please wear comfortable clothing you can move in and appropriate footwear for the dance discipline.

MacEwan Summer Music Workshop - Please note this is for the full four days of workshops

Workshop runs from August 19 to 22, 9 am to 3 pm.

Study Jazz, Rock and R&B in our 4-Day Combo Intensive!

Explore jazz, rock, and R&B in a fun, hands-on environment at one of Edmonton's top music programs! Whether you sing or play an instrument, this workshop is your chance to learn from pro musicians and jam with other students your age.

Ages: 13 to 18

Instruments Accepted: Voice, Guitar, Keys/Piano, Bass, Drums

Cost (per session and/or for all sessions)

$300

Room numbers: there will be several, but our main spaces will be 11-150 and 11-361 from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
