Triffo TheatreAt 50: Close to Home celebrates two major milestones for the Edmonton Winds. Join us for the first concert of our 50th year where we will be releasing our third studio album in collaboration with MacEwan's own Bent River Records!
'Close To Home' showcases local composers and performers and other music commissioned by the Edmonton Winds. The album features music by Allan Gilliland, Julie Giroux, Pete Meechan, and Mari Alice Conrad, with a feature performance of Dreaming of the Masters IV by award-winning saxophonist PJ Perry.
The concert will feature the music from the album as well as a world premiere commission from Julie Giroux and new music from Pete Meechan.
