Carrie: The Musical

Music by Michael Gore

Lyrics by Dean Pitchford

Book by Lawrence D. Cohen

Based on the novel by Stephen King

Carrie White is a lonely teenage outcast longing to fit in. She’s bullied at school by the popular crowd, invisible to everyone else, and at home controlled by her loving but deeply cruel religious mother. But Carrie’s just discovered she has the power of telekinesis, and if pushed too far she’s not afraid to use it… Her rampage of revenge remains one of Stephen King’s most terrifying stories of our times. A provocative look at bullying, religious fanaticism, teenage sexuality, and self-acceptance.
